15th - 25th September 2025
Namib Desert
DAY 1
- Meet at 08:00 am at Hosea Kutako International Airport to start our photography tour ( I suggest you to arrive one night prior and take a hotel close to the airport to get some rest, I can help you arrange this).
- At 09:00 am departure to our secret location in the Namib Desert.
- After a 6-7 hour drive we will arrive & check in to our luxury lodge for a welcoming dinner.
- This evening you are welcome to rest or head out and capture the sky.
DAY 2
- We will wake up early and head out for sunrise to see the Namibian landscapes, and if we are lucky, we will be greeted by a herd of Oryx.
- After we will have some breakfast and time to rest.
- In the afternoon we will head out for sunset and an astrophotography session under some of the best skies in the world has to offer.
DAY 3
-Daytime processing session and tips on how to get the most out of your images.
- Just before sunset we will head out for another night photography session at the stunning dead trees on this private farmland (there are around 10 dead trees all separated from one another that align perfectly with the Milky Way, some towering as tall as 5 meters).
DEADVLEI
DAY 4
- After a 4-hour drive we will arrive at the next stop of our photography tour - Sesriem, and check into Sossus Dune Lodge which is located past both the security gates and inside the national park, this guarantees us exclusive early bird and late exit to all the highlights such as Deadvlei, Sossusvlei, Big Mama Dune & many more.
- Just before sunset we will do a short excursion to Deadvlei for a sunset photography session.
- After returning to the hotel and having dinner you are free to rest or continue imaging from the terraces in your rooms.
DAY 5
- An hour before sunrise we will make our way to Deadvlei & Sossusvlei for a sunrise photography session and if we are fast enough possibly some blue hour shots of the dead trees.
- A little after sunrise we will slowly head back to our hotel to rest and enjoy lunch.
- An hour before sunset we will go on a private drive into Deadvlei where we will be allowed to stay a little later than normal and capture a few more shots in the late blue hour and have another one of our night photography workshop sessions.
-After returning to the hotel and having dinner you are free to rest or continue imaging from the terraces in your rooms.
Big Mama Dune
DAY 6
- An hour before sunrise we will make our way to Big Mama Dune for a photography session.
- A little after sunrise we will slowly head back to our hotel to rest and enjoy lunch.
- An hour before sunset we will go on another private drive into Deadvlei where we will be allowed to stay a little later than normal and capture a few more shots in late blue hour and dark night. Note the hike to Deavlei is 25 minutes each way and from the parking, it’s a short walk to Big Mama Dune where it’s a possibility to stay and shoot an extra 25 minutes whilst the others are hiking back from Deadvlei.
-After returning to the hotel and having dinner you are free to rest or continue imaging from the terraces in your rooms.
Spitzkoppe
DAY 7
- After a 5-hour drive we will arrive at Spitzkoppe Cabin Camp where we will be spending the night.
- We will then head out for a sunset photography session and stay in the dark at the famous Arch - a perfect spot for our night photography workshop.
- After returning to the hotel we can image from outside our rooms with the stunning view of the Spitzkoppe.
Etosha National Park
DAY 8
- After a 5-hour drive we will arrive at Etosha Safari Lodge.
- We will then head out for a 2-3 hour Safari Game drive.
- After we will return to our hotel for dinner and rest or do night photography from the grounds.
DAY 9
- Our day will start early around sunrise and we will venture on a 9-hour Safari Game Drive to try and capture as much wildlife photography as possible.
- After we will return to our hotel for our farewell dinner and review of the trip.
Farewell
Day 10
- After a 5 hour drive we will return to Hosea Kutako International Airport to head home. Drop off time is at 16:00pm.

I am your host and guide on this tour.
After receiving a full introduction on the first day to Astrophotography I will then prepare you with the knowledge and tools to go out and capture stunning nightscapes and landscape photos just like mine. In the following days, you will shadow me and try to take the exact same compositions as me in order to learn the workflow and the correct way to capture your images. Alternatively, you are free to roam the beautiful landscapes around us and capture your own images where I would then come follow up, give tips, and also my feedback. We will also be doing landscape, sunset/sunrise photography, and so on.
